WestJet Flight Change and Cancellation Policy

Willing to cancel your ticket? To do this, you first need to know how to cancel the WestJet Airlines flight ticket first. You can change or cancel your WestJet flights until two hours before the departure is scheduled. If you make any change as per the 24-hour cancellation policy, it will only be subject to any difference in fare. The airline will give you a full refund in the original payment form if you are canceling your ticket within 24 hours of the original booking. The rule is different for same-day flights. In this case, you will have to pay a cancellation fee.

A change or cancellation is not possible if you are doing that for a Basic fare ticker beyond the 24-hour policy. However, a change fee of CAD 100/USD will apply for Economy, Premium, Business or Member Exclusive class passengers to or from all destinations in North America, including Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America. The passengers with the business for travel to or from all destinations outside of North America are subjected to pay a fee of CAD 400/US (plus tax, per person). If you have Business Flex or PremiumFlex fare, you are not supposed to pay any fee for this service.

WestJet Airlines Vacation Package Change Policy

Vacation packages are subject to applicable supplier rates and charges. Changes are re-booked at the current retail price. If you want to make any change in your vacation package reservation, you are supposed to do that at least 21 days before the departure. Your request will not be accepted if you are making it after crossing the 21st day. WestJet, as per WestJet Airlines cancellation policy, charges CAD 100 change fee per guest including GST.

You don’t need to pay the change fee if you have booked the package with Premium fares. However, the change fee will be applicable (hotel and other suppliers can also apply fees) if you are going for a change of property. To make any change, you need to call WestJet Vacations department during the business hours.

As per WestJet Airlines' refund policy, No cancellation fee will be charged for the passengers with PremiumFlexand or BusinessFlex fare tickets. The paid amount will be refunded to you in the original form of payment.
